Fort Morgan Board of Education members tabled Monday revised policies and regulations on complaints and concerns about personnel.
Representatives of the Fort Morgan Education Association, which represents certified personnel, and Ron Echols, superintendent of schools, met last week after FMEA members expressed concern about possible dangers to due process in policy revisions.
Echols and FMEA representatives called the talks productive and positive but said another meeting was needed to finalize the policies and regulations. Some were up for the first of three required readings, some for second reading.
Also up for second reading were updates on policies on alcohol and drugfree workplace, administrative staff positions, public conduct on district property, community use of school facilities and a safe and drugfree schools advisory council.
